The Hamilton County Board of Elections opened at its new location, 4700 Smith Road in Norwood, on Tuesday, January 17. They are located in the Central Parke development adjacent to Fifth Third Bank. The move came almost a year after Hamilton County Commissioners and the elections board voted to approve the Norwood site.
The previous site on Broadway in downtown had very little parking, small office space and poor handicapped access. The new site here in Norwood fixes those problems. The site is big enough to house both the board offices and the voting equipment that is now stored in a warehouse in Fairfax. The new location is centrally located, close to bus lines and has plenty of free parking. This site is more accessible to most people.
