Can you believe summer is here? That means the return of the Williams Avenue Community Garden Farmers’ Market. The first Farmers’ Market was held on Saturday, June 24. Beginning at 9 AM, residents stopped by the community garden to enjoy fresh produce from Hope Grows Ohio and Woodbottom Quail Farms, delicious bread from the Breadsmith, and coffee from Brick Coffee Company. Attendees could also enjoy jewelry from Bling Blango, local artisans and music was provided by the Norwoodians. Special to this Farmers’ Market was the addition of a neighborhood grill out sponsored by Kroger.
Make sure to mark your calendar for the next three Farmers’ Markets – July 29, August 26 and September 30. The Farmers’ Markets are held at the Williams Avenue Community Garden from 9 AM – 12 PM.
