On Saturday, July 22, the Norwood Cheerleading program hosted a cheer camp for all the cheerleaders in Norwood. Over 110 students, from kindergarten to 12th grade came out to participate in the camp. The camp was one day of intense training where the cheerleaders learned a cheer, a chant, a dance and warm up methods. The students involved had a great time and learned a lot to prepare them for a great year. The Varsity Cheerleading team was a huge help at the camp. They had just returned from a four day camp at The Ohio State University. This was a huge opportunity for the cheerleaders and will help them to have an amazing year and bond together as a team.
